Fierce Comics Signs Industry Veteran Scott Reed

Fierce Comics announced today that the company has signed an agreement with veteran comic book artist Scott Reed to illustrate an unspecified number of Redneck Red comic books.  Reed’s background includes inking for Marvel, Malibu, and Dark Horse.  He has also written, drawn, and published several comic books, including High Strangeness and The Last Odyssey. 

“We’re obviously thrilled to work Scott on this title,” said Ben Filipiak, founder of Fierce Comics.  “He brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the book that we feel will ensure its success.”  The book is slated for release in 2007 and is planned to be an ongoing series from the St. Petersburg, Florida based comic book publisher.
